Why I Chose Tom Over Jay Gatsby
When Gatsby came back into my life, it turned to chaos. Tom and he started fighting for me. I ran over a woman. Before Jay, my life was simpler. Although I may not love Tom as much as I should, he is my husband. He has supported me for the many years we have been together. I married Tom because Jay was poor, and I couldn’t wait for him anymore during the war. We were happy in the beginning. I was in love. I’ve always had Gatsby on my mind.
